Community Conversation on public art set for March 27
The next Friends of Massie Community Conversation series continues March 27 at the Massie Heritage Center with a discussion of Savannah’s public art and its significance to our city. Panelists include Stuart Miller, director of Cultural Resources for the City of Savannah, Ellen Harris, principal with Ethos Preservation, and Jerome Meadows, public artist and founder and director of MeadowLark Studio. The conversation will be facilitated by John Bennett, assistant professor of public administration at Savannah State University.
Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the program begins at 7 p.m. The event is free. The Massie Heritage Center is located at 207. E. Gordon St.
